Tuesday Turn Three 6/3/25

Tuesday gives us the chance to reflect on the week that will be. With Monday conquered, lets turn our energy to sports! TBS and MLB are giving us a doubleheader tonight with the Cleveland Guardians @ New York Yankees in game one and the New York Mets @ Los Angeles Dodgers in the nightcap. The Yankees continue their strong season hosting a competitive Guardians team, while out west, two NL powerhouses clash as the Mets visit the Dodgers. Plenty of star power on display for the national audience, although the east coast bias is loud and clear in these!

Hitter 1 - Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Dodgers)

Ohtani is always a must-watch, and playing in a national game against a quality Mets team should bring out his best. He's been a consistent offensive force for the Dodgers. Tylor Megill has actually held Ohtani hitless in 5 at bats, but Ohtani's ability to hit both righties and lefties, combined with his power, makes him a threat every night against either the starter or the bullpen.

Ohtani 2+ Total Bases -120

Hitter 2 - José Ramírez (Cleveland Guardians)

Ramírez is the heart and soul of the Guardians' offense and consistently puts up impressive numbers. With the ability to hit for both average and power, although only batting .244 in 45 at bats against Rodón, Ramírez's experience and clutch hitting will be crucial if Cleveland wants to have a chance in this one.

Ramírez 2+ Hits+Runs+RBIs -140

Pitcher - Carlos Rodón (New York Yankees)

Rodón has been a key part of the Yankees' strong rotation, currently sitting at 7-3 with a 2.60 ERA. Rodón will look to use his high-strikeout potential against a Guardians lineup that can hit well but also has its share of strikeouts. His performance will be critical and he's often a good candidate for hitting his strikeout props, especially when he's on his game.

Rodón Over 6.5 Strikeouts -120
