Tuesday Turn Three 5/27/25
Tuesday gives us the chance to reflect on the week that will be. With Monday conquered, lets turn our energy to sports! MLB has given us a national broadcast game for Tuesday, and that allows us to look at some under the radar players you can actually sit down and watch today! The TBS/MLBN National Broadcast game Tuesday Night is Braves @ Phillies. The Phillies are 9-1 in their last 10 games and get the struggling Braves coming to town for the whole country to watch.
Hitter 1 - Brandon Marsh
Marsh is 7 for 19 over his last 7 games, hitting .368 over that period and has looked very in control as of late. He also has a .385 mark against Strider in 13 at bats with 2 home runs and an OPS of 1.352. This also isn’t the Strider from last year as he has struggled so far this season. I like Marsh to do some damage.
Marsh 2+ Total Bases +205
Hitter 2 - Marcell Ozuna
Ozuna has been on fire of late, 10 for 26 in his last 7 games, hitting .385 with 3 home runs. He has also hit safely in 9 of his last 12. Hitting .300 in 20 at bats against Suarez, I like Ozuna to spend some time on the bases today. Longshot chance at a homerun, although most of the value is gone already. Ozuna for 2+ hits might get done before Suarez leaves the game.
Ozuna 2+ Hits +225
Pitcher - Ranger Suarez
Following a stint on the IL to start the season, Ranger Suarez is 3-0 in 4 starts with a 3.70 ERA and his K/9 is just about at his career average. Since getting shelled by Arizona in his first start, Suarez has handled the bottom feeder teams he has gone up against, and the struggling Braves are closer in form to those teams than to the NL powers. I like Suarez to continue to pitch well in this game, and he should be able to go 6+ innings to set the table for the bullpen in the first game of the series.
Suarez 6+ Strikeouts +110
