Hump Day Heroes 5/28/25
Everyone needs a midweek energy infusion, and baseball teams are no different. I’ve got a few guys primed for a big Hump Day who can help you out in fantasy, DFS, or just for some good old fashioned entertainment. First, let's check in on last week’s guys:
Ohtani - 0 for 4, 2 Ks - MISS
Olson - Rainout
Brown - 5 IP , 5 ER, 4 Ks - MISS
Hitter 1: Aaron Judge
For what it’s worth, Judge actually has had a relatively hard time against Kikuchi, with only 2 home runs and a .200 average in 25 at bats. But he is still Judge, and I like him to add executioner to his accolades with a home run against the Angels.
Judge 1+ Home Run +180
Hitter 2: Mauricio Dubon
Dubon has been hot over his last 7 games, reaching safely in 6 and going 8 for 24 at the plate. Severino has struggled, and Dubon to get a hit is almost assured, although the value to do so is right on the edge of being worth it.
Dubon 1+ Hit -175 (2+ is +320 if you are feeling the matchup)
Pitcher: Zack Wheeler
Wheeler is 6-1 with a 2.42 ERA and looks every bit the elite level pitcher the Phillies needed him to be. 88 strikeouts in 70.2 innings pitched against a swing happy Braves team makes me feel pretty good about his strikeout total, I would go as high as 8+ Ks. Give me the Phillies to win the game and F5 as well.
Wheeler Over 6.5 Strikeouts -150 (8+ Ks +125)
