Hump Day Heroes 6/25/25
Everyone needs a midweek energy infusion, and baseball teams are no different. I’ve got a few guys primed for a big Hump Day who can help you out in fantasy, DFS, or just for some good old fashioned entertainment. First, let's check in on last week’s guys:
Muncy - 1 for 2, 2 BB - MISS
Devers - 0 for 3, 1 K - MISS
Gray - Rainout
This Week:
Hitter 1: Max Muncy (Los Angeles Dodgers)
Muncy burned us last week, but he gets a dream matchup today at Coors Field, the most hitter-friendly park in baseball. He faces Rockies' rookie right-hander Chase Dollander, who has been extremely vulnerable to the long ball, especially against left-handed hitters (2.23 HR/9). Muncy is swinging a hot bat, slashing .317/.463/.603 with five home runs in June, and as a lefty power hitter, this is an ideal spot for him to do serious damage.
Muncy 1+ Home Run +260
Hitter 2: Cal Raleigh (Seattle Mariners)
"Big Dumper" is arguably the hottest hitter in baseball right now. He's hit six home runs in his last seven games and is currently riding a four-game homer streak. Twins' righty Joe Ryan takes the mound, and Raleigh has a .635 slugging percentage against right-handers this season. We're simply riding the hot hand with a player who is seeing beach balls at the plate.
Raleigh 1+ Home Run +195
Pitcher: Jacob Misiorowski (Milwaukee Brewers)
This rookie has been electric. Misiorowski and his 100+ mph fastball get a fantastic matchup at home against the Pittsburgh Pirates. After dominating two low-strikeout teams (Cardinals and Twins), he now faces a Pirates lineup that should be his most advantageous matchup on paper yet. In his first 11 MLB innings, he's allowed only one hit while striking out 11. He's a great candidate to continue his dominant start.
Misiorowski Over 6.5 Strikeouts +155
