Hump Day Heroes 7/2/25
Everyone needs a midweek energy infusion, and baseball teams are no different. I’ve got a few guys primed for a big Hump Day who can help you out in fantasy, DFS, or just for some good old fashioned entertainment. First, let's check in on last week’s guys:
Muncy - 2 for 4, 1 HR, 6 RBI - HIT
Raleigh - 0 for 4, 3 K - MISS
Misiorowski - 5 IP, 2 H, 0 ER, 8 K - HIT
Hitter 1: Corey Seager (Texas Rangers)
Seager gets a matchup against Orioles pitcher Tomoyuki Sugano, who sits in the top ten in most home runs allowed this season with 17. Seager is a powerful left-handed bat with a great track record, and this is a prime matchup to exploit a pitcher who has been vulnerable to the long ball.
Seager 1+ Home Run +290
Hitter 2: Yainer Diaz (Houston Astros)
Diaz and the Astros are playing at Coors Field tonight against the Colorado Rockies, which is the best possible environment for hitters. He is averaging 1.5 total bases per game on the season and gets to face a Rockies pitching staff that has struggled all year. This is a prime spot for a big offensive night from the Astros catcher.
Diaz Over 1.5 Total Bases -145
Pitcher: Sonny Gray (St. Louis Cardinals)
The Cardinals' ace, Sonny Gray (8-2, 3.36 ERA), is in a fantastic spot today against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Gray has been a consistent source of quality starts and strikeouts (101 SO in 93.2 IP). He's a strong candidate to control the game and put up a dominant performance against a division rival.
Gray Over 6.5 Strikeouts +125
