Humpday Heroes 6/11/25
Everyone needs a midweek energy infusion, and baseball teams are no different. I’ve got a few guys primed for a big Hump Day who can help you out in fantasy, DFS, or just for some good old fashioned entertainment. First, let's check in on last week’s guys:
Judge - 2 for 4 - No HR
Verdugo - 1 for 3 - HIT
Gore - 7 IP, 0 ER, 7 Ks - HIT
This Week:
Hitter 1: Kerry Carpenter (Detroit Tigers)
Carpenter has been excellent against right-handed pitching this year, posting a .364 wOBA. Today he faces Orioles' righty Zach Eflin, who has struggled against left-handed hitters, allowing a .369 wOBA and 2.67 HR/9 in that split. Camden Yards is in full effect here, and its not crazy to think Carpenter might put one out of the park.
Carpenter 2+ Total Bases (+100)
Hitter 2: Zach Neto (Los Angeles Angels)
Neto has a fantastic history against today's opposing pitcher, JP Sears, batting 5-for-10 with two home runs in his career. Sears has struggled this season with a 5.21 ERA and was hit hard by the Angels in a late-May start. From the leadoff spot, Neto is in a prime position to take advantage of this matchup and will get plenty of opportunities to do so.
Neto 3+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (+110)
Pitcher: Kris Bubic (Kansas City Royals)
Bubic has been lights out for the Royals this season, boasting a sparkling 1.43 ERA. Bubic has allowed just three runs combined over his last six starts. If he can limit the damage early from a scary good Yankees lineup, Bubic should coast in this one.
Bubic 7+ Strikeouts (+215)
